I wish I would’ve paid more attention to what was going on when I was employed.

I learned a lot, but if I’d been looking at things through the eyes of a freelancer? I think I could’ve gotten out earlier.

I would’ve listened more to what vendors were doing. Paid more attention to software. Asked more questions about pain points in certain positions.

If you’re still employed, look around. There’s lessons for your freelance business everywhere.
