Yeah, it might be common. Yes, plenty of freelancers are barely paying themselves a living wage, but it shouldn’t be normalized.

 

It takes an intentional strategy, but that really starts with mindset.

 

Promise yourself that you’re going to pay yourself enough to support the life you want. That you’re not going to exploit your own labor, and that you’re going to take on the responsibility of building a business that’s proud to pay it’s employees well…even if it is just you.
