Be patient with yourself.
I was still dealing with burnout 4 years after getting out of employment. Recently, this year, after a series of deaths in my family, I relapsed on a lot of work habits.
And I was really disappointed in myself.
But then I remembered…it’s a process.
I’m working to undo 15 years of programming and that’s not going to completely go away in less time than it took to establish.
So whatever you’re using freelancing to address in your life, don’t feel rushed. We’re all working through it together…slowly.
