You know one of the main reasons I switched to my niche? 

It was where I heard high-paid freelancers working. They weren’t in my passion niche (a hobby) or honestly anything related to consumers or media. They were in the business world. 

It doesn’t get said enough, but your niche is probably the biggest determinant of the kinds of rates you can charge.

So if your money isn’t looking how you want it to, sit down with your employment history and interests (and this list) and see what you can come up with.
