I always say that my job here is to keep BF running...and making sure you’re getting what you need out of it is the most important part of that job.
That’s why this month, I’m going to ask you one question a week...questions that I’ll use to shape the BlackFreelance experience over the coming months and years.
...and I want you to be honest.
The more direct your feedback is, the better the platform will be for Black freelancers everywhere.
I don’t want to take a ton of your time...even just a one sentence comment will help. (But of course, I understand if it’s not something you’re comfortable with.)
Where aren’t your expectations being met?
Let’s start with the basics.
I’m sure you had an idea of what you thought this experience would be like when you signed up. I want to ask you what didn’t live up to what you thought things would be like.
For example, a while back I signed up for a platform that I thought would help me understand political processes better, and it turned out it was mostly just a place for politicians to get more attention.
I ended up unsubscribing because it just wasn’t what I thought it was going to be.
Obviously, you’re still here, so I know you haven’t gone that far, but I want to know what might’ve made you think about hitting that unsubscribe button...or even just open emails less often.
Thanks for reading and for helping make this a better place for Black freelancers!
