Hey!
So freelance growth is actually pretty simple.
You’re just asking the same question...”What do I do next”...over and over
again.
The hard part is doing that in a way that gets you where you want to be. But I believe it can be a lot easier.
That’s why I created The Virtuous Freelance Cycle...a system that will help you progress from pillar to pillar, asking and answering questions in a way that helps you move forward with purpose and toward your definition of success.
This month, we’re going to be walking through the phases so that you can start testing it on your business as soon as you’re ready.
Client Acquisition
This phase sounds kind of clinical, but it’s probably the most
personal of all four.
Ask someone how they feel about sales and marketing and all of a sudden you’re talking identity, comfort, and personal ethics.
And that
makes sense. Client acquisition is relationship building and it’s a skill on its own.
That’s why most people will need to sit and marinate on this one.
It’s a
time to examine boundaries, how you create and respond to red flags, your comfort level with sales, and how willing you are to remove relationships that aren’t for you.
This can be a deep one, so if you’re in it and struggling, definitely shoot me a message.

P.S. How’s your strategy workbook going? Need any help? Come talk it out.
