Freelancing is so much more than performing a skill...it’s important to know that even before you start your freelance business.
That’s because too many of us reject freelancing thinking it’s limited. Or sometimes we pigeonhole ourselves thinking there’s only one way to freelance.
Well that’s why I wrote this post on all the different options you have as a freelancer.
Check it out, because this month, we’re covering four ways to use it as you think out your freelance future. But as a quick rundown, here are the eight paths.
The Professional Polymath
The Consultant Changemaker
The Outsourcer Entrepreneur
This one is the most fun.
Read through and see which ones jump out at you as interesting or energizing.
Maybe you’ve always wanted to run an agency or you like the idea of using a bunch of different skills. That means you might want to consider the Exclusive Agency or
Professional Polymath paths.
Each one involves a different approach to work and even a different lifestyle...for example, the consultants, specialists, and educators don’t necessarily manage people while some of the other paths do.
So take some time to read through and imagine yourself in each. Make note of how you feel. It might even be useful in working through
Phase 1 of your Strategy Workbook.
