Last month we talked the benefits for
getting better at sales as a freelancer.
This month we’re covering tactics...but not just any tactics. This is for people who don’t see themselves as natural salespeople and who might even be a little shy or even scared to start “selling”.
So for December, I’m going to walk through four techniques that have helped me go from terrible at sales to comfortable and confident...let’s go!
Kill the negative self-talk
Most importantly, stop telling yourself you’re bad at sales.
Sales is something anybody can learn. Remind yourself of that, but also that you can find a
sales style that aligns with your personality and doesn’t push you outside your own abilities.
Just know that you’re capable of much more than you realize in the world of sales.

This month, check out Ross Simmonds. Ross is a B2B marketing expert...a field I’d love to see more of us get into. You can learn more about him and his work here on his site.
