BlackFreelance Tip: Make Contacting You Easy

Published: Sun, 10/04/15

Hi

Your website is your freelance business home base…it’s where you show clients that you understand their problems and how you can help them. The real point of your website though, is to get them to interact with you, and that’s why this week’s tip is…

Don’t make your clients work to contact you.

Make sure your contact information…email, phone, Skype…is easily accessible from every part of your site. You may even want to consider putting it in a header that’s visible from every page and popping in your phone number and email address.

Remember, you don’t want to lose a potential client just because they had to click too many times to give you a call.

It’s website month!

We’re doing themed months now at BlackFreelance and this month is all about websites, getting them going and making them work for you. We’re launching a new course on website essentials for our members, and posts this month will be all about optimizing your web presence. To kick things off though, I’ve posted a few thoughts on getting tripped up on what really matters on your freelancer website.

Have a great week!

Megan.
