How do you feel about talking to clients?

Hi

In the Academy this week, we’re going to be contacting our clients to see if they need any more of our services. For a lot of people, this is going to mean getting over a really difficult hurdle — being uncomfortable contacting their clients.

This can be an issue for a lot of freelancers, since many of us behave very passively in our businesses and hope and pray that business will just come to us.

I’ve said it before around here, but freelancing is active and if you don’t push your limitations, business will not come. That’s why this week’s freelance tip is…

Build contact into your calendar.

I promise…keeping a regular calendar, even with small tasks every day can COMPLETELY change your business. Try adding proactive contact with clients or prospects, even just once a week and watch how fast you get comfortable with keeping your clients happy.

Have a great week, and as always, if you’ve got any freelance questions, just let me know!

Megan.

P.S. Are you a growing online entrepreneur? If so, I’m glad you’re here! Freelancing is a great start in online business (I wish I would have started as a freelancer instead of burning thousands of dollars in other areas.)
