I just sent out yearly gifts to my clients and am starting to get feedback.

They all loved them (one even finally started replying to emails after months of silence.) Gifts though, can be easy. Send over something sweet and fun, and you’ll at least be a hit with someone’s kids or coworkers. The bigger and harder question is what do they want for their business?

Ask this question for every new client, every current client, and any client that leaves. Getting in that habit and the path your freelance business takes will be much more clear.
