I know we’re not quite at the end of 2017 yet, but I kinda like to start things early.

I kicked off this discussion over on Twitter, but wanted to ask you the same thing here…what freelancing lessons has 2017 taught you?

Twitter gave up some great responses like asking for deposits, being willing to ask for changes on contracts, and choosing a niche, but I want to hear from you.

I see Black content marketing having a real chance for taking off in 2018 with the help of the right writers, designers, developers and marketers and want you to be right at the front of that wave.
