Motivation gets you started, habits keep you going.
Anyone who’s ever tried to lose weight or put on muscle knows this is true. You can be as hyped as you want to start things out, but 1 week, 1 month, or 1 year in, and that new dress, figure competition, or beach vacation that had you pushing to make changes probably doesn’t mean as much as it used to. It might’ve even passed you by.
That’s
because motivation doesn’t last forever. It changes, fades, and morphs, so for big goals, it’s just not what’s going to get you through…and it’s not supposed to.
Motivations are the spark that starts the car, but habits are the gas.
So I’m going to ask you today…What’s your tank look like? Your reading to research your niche, your marketing, your developing your freelance skill. What do those habits look like today?
