I don’t believe in broke freelancing.
As
much as we pay in taxes, insurance, personal education, and everything else, ALL of us should be making sure we’re getting paid and getting paid well.
That can be hard though, especially if you’re stuck in a broke niche.
That said, there is a way out.
Nothing’s guaranteed, but a few niches out here are pretty well-known for getting freelancers over those low-dollar days (making less than $50-75/hr) and into earning that provides you stability and a viable career. Some of those are…
- Tech
- Medium to large businesses
- Finance
- Real estate
- Law
- Healthcare/Medical
If you don’t want to completely upset your current niche, look for where you can intersect with some of those higher-earning options and see what you find. (Like if you want to focus on education, consider ed
tech.)
On a side note, I’m going to start sending you exercises so you can practice identifying value so you can be a pro at doing in your business. You’ll be getting the answers the week after each exercise hits your inbox. Ready for the
first one?
RealtyJuggler.com: What problem do they solve and who do they solve it for? What product/service do they offer that solves it?
Feel free to shoot over your answers!
