I hear it from Black freelancers all the time, especially new ones….grinding, spending hours and days checking job boards, sending out endless prospecting letters and pitches.
Sometimes, for some of us, I think it’s just too much.
Don’t get me wrong. Freelancing takes work and dedication right from the jump, but sometimes another hour on Upwork isn’t the answer. Sometimes more prospects aren’t what you need. Sometimes, more won’t get you anywhere but tired.
Remember that before you pour yourself into this world you need a strategy.
That said, I didn’t
