Just a few hours ago I got off a webinar that I wish you could’ve heard.
It was with Copyblogger and covered something I’m going to bet don’t do enough of…prospecting.
I know because when I started, I wasn’t really doing it myself. I scrounged through Upwork and across a couple of job boards looking for great clients and aside from one or two, they just weren’t coming in fast enough to cover my bills.
There’s a reason that story is so common, and it’s because great clients usually aren’t waiting around for you to reply to their ads.
They’re out there, doing their
work and half the time they might not know someone like you even exists.
It’s your job as a freelancer to let them know, and that’s what prospecting is.
