I’ve been a little itchy about money this month.

 

Not in an immediate bills-are-due kinda way, but more in a “you’re setting yourself up for future problems” kinda way.

 

I track how much work I book every month and for the past 2 months, things have been weak. Really weak.

 

Part of that is because I needed to chill in January after a very busy end of 2018 (learning to let myself rest more) but if I’m being honest, most of it is because I let my marketing minimums slip.

 

It’s kind of like cheating on a diet though. It wasn’t a big deal at first, but now I feel it.

 

The Megan who handles marketing hasn’t been doing her job. If it was a regular employed gig? I’d probably either be reprimanded or let go — Next week, I’m going to have to have an honest sit down with myself and get my marketing inertia going again.
