I know when I started freelancing, my #1 priority was survival. I could barely see 1 year out. There was no way I could ask the 5, 10, or even 20-year question.

 

I’m going to ask you to do better than me and start trying to think about that question earlier.

 

How long will your business need to last you? Are you freelancing just for a few years to save for a down payment on a house, or is this a long-term career goal?
