So you know how in your Strategy Workbook we start with a skill?
Well that’s only part of the story.
For most of us, even if we start with a skill like writing, web design, or voice over work, we’ll end up refining over time — ending up in places like content marketing, site maintenance, and audiobooks.
That’s why choosing your skill isn’t as big a commitment as some people feel.
Even if you get your skill “right” the first time, you can always go deeper to better align with your talents, your clients needs, and your lifestyle goals.
One of the best signals to help you get there? What your niche is looking for.
Take mine for example. Yes, I’m a writer, but I chose to explore content marketing when I started refining because it’s what my niche needed. If I were in another space, I might have specialized in blogging, email, or just long-form content.
So get out there and look for places you might see some space.
