Hi, 

 

I wanted to talk to you about niches today, but Chadwick Boseman passed away. 

 

We've all gone through a lot this year but honestly, I'm not one to look to next year to get better on its own. I just don't believe years work that way.

 

We have opportunities every minute, every day, every week and every month to do better by ourselves and the people around us...and there's no guarantee the flipping of a calendar will make that any easier. 

 

So start today. There's no reason to wait until a New Year's party to rethink the fundamentals of your life. Freelancing taught me that. 

 

Even if you can only do it in a couple of tiny areas, start cleaning out the relationships, habits, media, and anything else that's asking too much and isn't improving your life in the long term. And the BlackFreelance community is always here if you need to talk.
