So last week I sent you a link for the new podcast episode. If you listened on the site, you might have been a bit confused. (The correct one is up now…my mistake!)

 

One thing that used to concern me a LOT as a new freelancer was what would happen if I made a mistake? If I got someone’s name wrong in a case study or fell flat on a deadline?

 

Well, I’ve learned that most people are pretty understanding — especially if you’re up front with them and have thoughts on a path forward. I’ve also found this to be truer in freelancing than my employment experience.

 

So embrace your mistakes, communicate, and you’ll be ok out here.
