Starting is where most freelancers get hung up, but it’s easiest to start where you are.
Don’t try to reinvent the wheel, or save the world, or launch a brand-new career.
Not saying those things aren’t possible, but doing them at the same time as taking your first steps as a freelancer? It’s worth asking if you want to try to do both at the same time.
That’s why I suggest that people who want to improve their lives through freelancing? Look for opportunities in their employment and education…places where they already have traction and see some little inertia taking off.
It’s always easier to take on the big challenges once you’ve got a solid foundation in place.
