Too many of us try to reinvent the wheel when we start a business.

Sometimes we’re diving into new waters of shipping product or trying to start from scratch in a passion business. Those are great, but when it comes to shaping a life that doesn’t center your work? I think there’s an easier way.

And that way starts with employment.

Sounds wrong doesn’t it? Employment might not be where you want to be, but it’s basically a treasure chest of clues, business information, and even red flags that you can use as a freelancer.  

That’s why over the next year, I want to spend time digging into how to leverage employment experiences to build healthier, more sustainable, easier freelance businesses.
