Every month we run through a series of questions to help you run your freelance business like a bigger business — “self-coaching” your way to better results and a better life.
Hey! Happy COO and Black History month (U.S)!
We’re rolling into February, and this month, we’re talking production.
But we’re not going to focus on doing more. We’re going to talk about working better.
So this month we’re going to cover four tips to help you figure out when you do your best work—so you can start building out a great schedule that fits your life goals.
Listen for your happy times.
We’re starting here because if you’re anything like me, you’re not necessarily the best at even knowing when your work is going well.
So over the next week, pay attention and look for the times your work feels effortless, when the minutes just seem to fly by, and when you really feel like you’re in a “flow”. Make note of what it feels like and keep an eye out until you get better at identifying the times work is the smoothest for you.
Next week, we’ll start on the tracking side
If you need inspiration from other community members, come by the Academy boards and let’s talk it out!
