Every month we
run through a series of questions to help you run your freelance business like a bigger business — “self-coaching” your way to better results and a better life.
Hey! Happy COO month!
This February we’re working on production…asking questions to make sure you’re shaping a freelance business that actually improves your life.
This month we’re covering four tips to help you figure out when you do your best work—all so you can start building out a great schedule that fits your life goals.
Start an Experiment
So this is one I’ve been wanting to try myself but haven’t gotten around to it.
It involves trying a few different schedules and seeing which one feels most natural to you. You could try shorter but more intense days, waking up earlier or later, even splitting your days and taking a few hours mid-day before coming back to work. There’s a good chance that whatever you feel is “normal” doesn’t quite vibe with your natural “best” schedule, so mix it up…start with clues
from times you’ve felt ridiculously productive and go from there.
…or come by the Academy boards and let’s talk it out!
