Hey!
A couple weeks back we talked personas, and this week, we’re going to talk about one of the best ways to inform them: surveys.
Surveys can range from a simple SurveyMonkey form that you send to prospects, to customer surveys, to something you outsource to a market research firm. You can even sometimes use survey conducted by other entities to get deeper insights into your market.
They have their drawbacks (since questions can be
leading and people don’t always behave the way they say they will)—but they can also be incredibly useful for understanding perspectives and even the language they use around certain problems and concepts.
