# 1 Where did my positioning not work out?
...and sometimes, it doesn’t work out the way we want.
I remember early on, a client made a comment one day, “since you’re a social media person”...I am not a social media person.
They thought of me that way since that’s what they needed...but also because I hadn’t done the work of explicitly stating my positioning (as an industry-specialized writer and content marketer who creates funnels that drive value).
