This month we’re going to be walking through the reasons people use content marketing…at least why they should be.
Too many of our clients (and us as freelancers) pour
time, money, and effort into content—with little insight into what we should be getting on the other end.
So let’s take a look at what should be happening.
Visibility and Awareness
We’re starting with this one
because it’s the most obvious and the most common.
We see it all the time on the B2C side…it matters because tons of our clients struggle to get eyeballs on their products and services.
So what’s that mean for us?
It means we have to align with our readers’ needs, offer them solutions and information, stand out (differentiate), and sometimes, pay to get above the noise (I use paid ads myself and always encourage my clients to.)
