Every month we run through a series of questions to help you run your freelance business like a bigger business—“self-coaching” your way to better results and a better life.
Hey!
Since uncertainty is the norm these days, agility is a must as CEOs of our freelance businesses.
But how do we build that into our one-person shops without overloading ourselves?
That’s what we’re tackling in October, so we’re walking through 5 actions the CEO of freelance businesses should take to stay agile and respond to the changes coming our way.
#5 Run focused experiments
You’re going to be working
with a lot of trial and error, which means experiments are your friend.
But.
It’s best to only take one at a time.
If you mix up too many variables, it’s hard to tell what’s working and what’s not. It’s even harder to know how to adjust.
So change just one thing at a time, giving yourself room to focus and understand how it’s impacting your business and you as an individual.
