#2 Should I raise prices?
So the answer here is almost universally, “yes.”
Inflation is running rampant and the cost of everything from rent to food is headed north. So the questions for most of us isn’t whether we should, but how.
If you’re on the bolder side, you can simply make an announcement and get contracts updated. Don’t feel bad about doing this...your clients have probably been raising their prices themselves.
If you’re less comfortable, you can focus on signing new clients at higher rates. It takes more work, but can result in the double bonus of bigger increases and better clients.
