Every month we run through a series of questions to help you run your freelance business like a bigger business—“self-coaching” your way to better results and a better life. You can view a condensed version of this month’s coaching prompts here.
A good chunk of the world is headed into a recession if not already there...and now’s exactly when CEOs are most important.
They make the decisions that help companies survive and even thrive in change. That’s true for bigger businesses and it’s true for freelancers too.
So this month, we’re going to be walking through self-coaching questions to help keep your freelance business healthy through any
economic bump.
If you’ve got any questions, just shoot a response to this email or stop by the boards for a deeper conversation.
How can my partnerships help?
This is one of my favorite because it can be a great reminder that you’ve got people out here on your side as a freelancer.
Hit up any partnerships you have and ask them how business is going. You can even be a bit vulnerable and let them know things seem to be slowing down for you. You might be surprised at the conversation it starts.
I’ve always walked away from these with new information, potential contacts, and industry insights I never would’ve had on my own...so send that email or make that call.
