As much as I believe in content marketing, it’s not a good fit for everybody at every stage in their freelance business.
Especially for early freelancers, you can burn a ton of time and energy “creating content” that just gets dumped into the void...and that’s because knowing what even has a shot at working for you takes time!
That’s why this month, we’re going to cover things you can do if you’re not at a point where content works in your favor (yet).
Observe other freelancers
Now is a great time to watch what other freelancers in and around your niche are doing.
What kind of content are they creating? How intensive is it? Where are they sharing? What kind of responses are they getting?
You can learn a lot from other people’s mistakes and wins at this stage, so sit back, take notes, and don’t stress over what’s not happening on your
end.
