Is this the year you need to create a business budget? 

Honestly, as freelancers, it’s pretty easy to live budget-free. Our expenses are low (compared to businesses that deal in goods) and we can generally wing it.  

But that doesn’t make it a good idea.  

You might find yourself overspending on coaching or conferences, new software or advertising services.  

If you are, think about setting up a budget for 2024 and see if you don’t see a difference after a quarter or two.
