Recently I’ve been reminded of an issue a LOT of my clients have, and something I even need to clean up myself.
Too often, we put ourselves at the center of our content stories instead of making our audience
the hero.
So this month, we’re going to cover ways to decenter ourselves in our marketing and make our prospects and customers the center of the story.
Cut back on the business announcements
Should we celebrate business wins? Absolutely!
Should it happen on our freelance business page? Probably not.
Yes, many of your clients want to see you grow and succeed, but there are MANY other things they care about more.
Consider creating a separate, more personal page where you can even invite clients who are just as excited as you are about your internal growth.
