Hey!
Recently I’ve been reminded of an issue a LOT of my clients have, and something I even need to clean up myself.
Too often, we put ourselves at the center of our content stories instead of making our audience
the hero.
So this month, we’re going to cover ways to decenter ourselves in our marketing and make our prospects and customers the center of the story.
My favorite content marketing exercise is observing myself as a
consumer—
looking at what it takes for me to trust a business...what makes me suspect, what kind of content I consume...what gets on my nerves.
If you take that information and use it to better understand what your prospects might be experiencing, content marketing can get a lot easier.
