Freelance marketing requires a
lot more explaining than you might think.
It’s easy to assume that people just “get” what you’re selling, or that the services you’re selling just makes sense…but most people are in their own world, seeing things from their own perspective.
This means there are a bunch of basics that your
content might need spell out. That’s what we’re covering this month.
How you work
This one is extremely valuable since, as freelancers, we need to set strong work boundaries.
This means we often have standards and expectations that employed contacts don’t or don’t even understand…and that’s
ok!
Take the time to spell out your schedule, hours of availability, how you prefer to be contacted and how often you like to meet, and you’ll be doing a huge favor to your clients and yourself.
