Freelance marketing requires a
lot more explaining than you might think.
It’s easy to assume that people just “get” what you’re selling, or that the services you’re selling just makes sense…but most people are in their own world, seeing things from their own perspective.
This means there are a bunch of basics that your
content might need spell out. That’s what we’re covering this month.
How to break up
Severing a freelance contract can be a touchy subject, which is why I put it in writing in my contract (something I consider a form of your content and part of your marketing experience).
Multiple times, I’ve had clients breathe a sigh of relief when I explain we can call it quits with just 30 days’ notice, an email, and settling payment for outstanding work.
Your content can be really useful in getting ahead of this kind of potentially uncomfortable conversation, so use it!
