That’s because I’ve realized something—most freelancers in this community have similar issues, and the most common…is a pipeline. Now, the beauty of this is content marketing is a HUGE part of this process, so we really haven’t deviated too far
from the original topic. We’re just being a lot more practical.
So welcome to the first week of our weekly pipeline email! As always, if you’ve got any thoughts or feedback, you’re doing me a favor by sharing.

HubSpot’s Guide
Since HubSpot is the preferred CRM and pipeline platform at BlackFreelance, we’re starting here.
The great thing about HubSpot’s long history in the marketing game is that they have a ton of resources to support their tools. This Sales Pipeline guide is a good one that covers general principles.
Because of that general approach, it’s great for not only understanding your pipeline, but also those of your clients—and when you understand how their business works, you can offer more valuable services as a freelancer.
It’s a bit high level, so keep in mind that, as a one-person business, you won’t be doing everything they cover, but that all the info is good to
generally understand. It’s definitely worth at least skimming.
