I’ve seen AI used in some pretty smart ways in
content marketing…including facilitating machine-to-machine communication and filling in gaps where we have labor shortages.
But for all the benefits, there are good reasons to be slow to jump on the generative AI bandwagon, and it’s just about impact on the environment.
This month, we’re going to cover 4 reasons to think hard before you run that next prompt.
Your reputation might be at risk
The shine is already starting to wear off AI…not a big deal if no one can tell you prompted your way to that blog image, but we’re still at a point where it’s pretty obvious to a good number of people
when your copy or visuals aren’t human generated.
Not only can it look a bit amateurish (if you're not careful), it can send a signal that you’re looking to cut corners—a dangerous message to send as a freelancer, especially if you’re doing client work.
Next time you’re ready to run a prompt, ask yourself if the output aligns with the image you want to project and
brand experience you want your audience to have.
