I’ve seen AI used in some pretty smart ways in
content marketing…including facilitating machine-to-machine communication and filling in gaps where we have labor shortages.
But for all the benefits, there are good reasons to be slow to jump on the generative AI bandwagon, and it’s just about impact on the environment.

Consider what it does to your own mindset.
Any technology we use changes us even as it’s saving us time. The one thing I’m seeing with gen AI is that it’s shifting people’s expectations of how long it
takes something to be created…and I’m not exempt from that.
When I look back and my business missteps, a lot of them are grounded in impatience, getting ahead of myself, and not giving myself enough temporal space to grow. I’m at a point where I want to minimize that internal risk.
As you use AI, do some expectation management and see where you’re ending up after
working with it for a while.
