Hey,
I was sick as a dog election night here in the U.S.—and I’m glad. Otherwise, I don’t think I’d be as clear headed as I am right now. (With food poisoning comes clarity apparently.)
There’s so much going on, and so much to be concerned about. We all need some space and
time to process our emotions for a while. But after that, the future is still coming. I absolutely believe we’re in for some very hard times…all of us, all over the globe.
I also think the same principles I’ve been preaching for a decade still apply—location independence, strategic focus, consistent marketing and prospecting.
But to help up us all find our footing in the new world that’s emerging (because that’s what’s happening—we’re losing one world and stepping into an unknown one) I want to talk about what I’m doing to adjust.

First off, how’re you doing? Just reply to this email if you want to talk.
I’m not changing all that much in my business. I’ve detested Donald Trump for so long (being from South Florida, that’s almost my entire life), just the threat of him possibly returning to the White House had me getting my ducks together early.
Now that I’ve seen that so many of us have chosen this man to lead
any country (let alone the U.S. with all its power and influence), I’m just moving forward. But first I’m taking some time to mourn, breathe, and find myself.
I’m looking for the things and practices that make me happy and remind me of my humanity. I’m going to need them in the coming years, so now’s a great time to lay them out so I know where to turn.
Most importantly though, I’m not panicking. Now’s a great time to prepare for a few scenarios (more on that later), but I’m consuming minimal speculative content on what the future could look like. (Reading the first half of Parable of the Sower is going to last me for a while.) I hope you have the space to do the same…and as always, come by the Facebook Mastermind if you want to share.
