Hey,
I was sick as a dog election night here in the U.S.—and I’m glad. Otherwise, I don’t think I’d be as clear headed as I am right now. (With food poisoning comes clarity apparently.)
There’s so much going on, and so much to be concerned about. We all need some space and
time to process our emotions for a while. But after that, the future is still coming. I absolutely believe we’re in for some very hard times…all of us, all over the globe.
I also think the same principles I’ve been preaching for a decade still apply—location independence, strategic focus, consistent marketing and prospecting.
But to help up us all find our footing in the new world that’s emerging (because that’s what’s happening—we’re losing one world and stepping into an unknown one) I want to talk about what I’m doing to adjust.
2. Doubling down on lifestyle and strategy
So if you’ve worked through the strategy materials here, you’ll know that occasionally, when life changes, it’s a good idea to step back to Phase 1 of your
workbook and reassess things.
This is one of those times.
Maybe you’re rethinking location dependence. Maybe you’re more worried about racist gatekeepers at companies. Maybe you want to prioritize more time with your family and community. I know
personally, I’m getting more serious about buying property abroad…so that’s a new lifestyle goal.
Take some time to take things in, and as the future pans out, make some space to start dreaming again and thinking of a new future for you and your loved ones…because there is something on the other side of this.
If you want to talk about that, come by the Facebook group.
