That’s because I’ve realized something—most freelancers in this community have similar issues, and the most common…is a pipeline. Now, the beauty of this is content marketing is a HUGE part of this process, so we really haven’t deviated too far from the original topic.
We’re just being a lot more practical.
So welcome to the first week of our weekly pipeline email! As always, if you’ve got any thoughts or feedback, you’re doing me a favor by sharing.
That said, let’s get into it…
Salesforce’s deep dive
Salesforce is where I cut my teeth on pipelines and let me tell you…it’s a beast.
You go to really big trade conferences, and you’ll like see their massive booth (dwarfing most of the others). So yes, their tools
are generally too much (and too expensive) for any one-person freelance shop.
But.
If you want to really get deep into a sales-forward perspective on a pipeline, this has great explanations of stages and metrics.
So while I don’t recommend you start off on this one, I do suggest sitting down with their resources for additional insights.
