Just like any other relationship, freelance connections require intentionality, and a little goes a long way.
Take just a few minutes each month to reach out to channel partners and you’ll be light years ahead of your average
freelancer.
- Set aside time
- Create the categories
- Decide on the actions
- Get them in the tool

It can be easy to lose track of your channel partners, so a CRM can come in highly useful here.
In HubSpot, I’ve created a persona just for them…call them “evangelist”, “channel partners”, “freelance buddies”…whatever you like. (If you need instruction on adding a new persona in HubSpot, this will help.)
The nice thing about this is that once they’re added, you can
filter and track your activities and results with them so you can refine in the future.
