Last month, we covered the very beginning of your
funnel—TOFU, or top of funnel.
This month, we’re going to talk a little about TOFU content—the kind of content that sparks initial interest.
The name of the game at this level is being useful and
addressing a pressing pain point.
Social Media
Even as the grounds of social media shift, it’s still one of the best ways to get in front of new eyes.
This includes posts, ads (like we’re discussing in this month’s coaching emails), and introductions like on LinkedIn.
The thing about this though, is you HAVE to be relevant. Just introducing yourself as a freelancer who provides a certain service isn’t likely going to get you much response. You need to lead with the value you provide and prove you’re focused on their industry and needs.
And remember that this doesn’t have to be long or involved. You just need to be consistent so that when someone does conduct a search you’re the first thing they think of.
