Hey!
I run into so many freelancers who worry about annoying people on social or looking spammy.
The truth is, we’re all inundated with content, so there’s not a good chance people are getting overloaded with the content you send out. It’s actually the opposite.
Getting people to move through your freelance funnel is pretty difficult. The nice thing though, is that you’ve got a BUNCH of opportunities to use even a simple piece of content in multiple ways.
We’re going to walk through four examples this week using the example of a white paper I wrote last year on the content preferences of B2B buyers.
It’s something I’m still using in my funnel.
Answer a question
Most of my prospects struggle with getting the attention of executives, so they have to be highly deliberate in their work. They’re always asking what they can do to cut through the
noise and stand out.
I regularly use different stats from the white paper to reframe and encourage people in my mid-funnel to read it—most of us need a couple of nudges before we sit down with anything deeper than a social media post. The people who buy freelance services are no different. So don’t be scared to send a piece of content multiple times (especially if you space it
out).
