Every month we run through a series of
questions to help you run your freelance business like a bigger business—“self-coaching” your way to better results and a better life.
Hey!
It looks like we’ve got a really volatile year ahead of us…but I’m confident that new opportunities are going to come out of it for freelancers. Mostly because our agility allows us to respond
to change better than your average worker—but also because it’s going to be even harder to maintain and improve our quality of life in many ways over the coming years.
And while navigating all that requires specific tactics, it’s impossible to know exactly which to apply if we don’t have an extremely clear vision for ourselves and for our businesses. So this month, for our Income and Assessment, I’m posing four questions to answer in the face of big changes.
#4 What services can I offer to facilitate all this?
Your services are like the products you offer a market…and they should always be up for tweaking and change.
After working through the last few weeks, you probably have a few ideas of where you’d like to head—but less clarity on how to get there. As scary as that might be, that’s the nature of freelancing. It’s scary, exciting, and challenging all at the same time.
But the great thing is that these questions get MUCH easier to answer if you’re spending time listening to and asking
questions of other freelancers. So if you’re stuck on this one and need help deciding on services that will serve your vision, come let me know in the BF Mastermind Facebook group!
