#2 Am I staying on top of my clients?
As freelancers, we’re responsible for managing our relationships with each client…but it’s VERY easy to let one or two fall off our radar if things get busy with higher-priority work.
Personally, I keep a document with a list of all my active clients. I have an item on my calendar to check at the beginning and end of every
week.
It takes a higher-level perspective and includes what they’re most concerned about right now, what they love in my work, and their aspirations (things we talked about when we first started working together).
This honestly gives my brain SO much peace, since I no longer worry about what I might be missing or who I might be neglecting…highly recommend it if
you feel like you don’t have a handle on your client relationships.
