Hey!
I run into so many freelancers who worry about annoying people on social or looking spammy.
The truth is, we’re all inundated with content, so there’s not a good chance people are getting overloaded with the content you send out. It’s actually the opposite.
Getting people to move through your freelance funnel is pretty difficult. The nice thing though, is that you’ve got a BUNCH of opportunities to use even a simple piece of content in multiple ways.
We’re going to walk through four examples this week using the example of a white paper I wrote last year on the content preferences of B2B buyers.
It’s something I’m still using in my funnel.
Piggyback off the news
The current admin is flying through healthcare like a wrecking ball and everybody’s concerned.
Instead of shying away from the topic, I’ve
sent out my white paper in an email, explaining how the principles it covers can be used to address what’s going on in the world right now.
Don’t feel you have to create brand new content for every headline or news event—the way the world is changing now, that’s basically impossible.
Instead, look for work you’ve done that covers the fundamentals. Then 4eframe it to fuel emails, social, blogs, and other forms of content that move people through your funnel.
