Hi!
So you know I recommend HubSpot for freelancers…it’s free, has a ton of functionality, and it’s commonly used by a lot of larger entities so it’s a skill in itself.
This month I want to share a couple of functions that aren’t anything new, but that have really useful in upgrading my pipeline game.
BF note: Any CRM is better than none, but despite having no
affiliations, I always recommend HubSpot since it has a free version, tons of integrations and courses, and that it’s a skill you can resell as a freelancer.
Intelligence
This might only be available on paid plans, but I’m finding myself using it quite a bit on follow up and nurturing.
The Intelligence tab (at the top of the Contact page) holds information like email, LinkedIn page, and company description.
This has been useful for me on the company side
since, as I’m getting deeper into sales, it’s been harder for me to keep track of what every company does off the top of my head.
This page is a nice primer before getting on a call or sending an email so that I understand the context of what I’m working with. It also saves me the time of having to go to a website and sift through whatever they’re highlighting this week to better understand who I’m talking to and what they might
be dealing with.
Check out the intelligence page when you get a chance…it’s got some nice bits of info that could be useful for you in the future.
